In an old abandoned room, a structure made of wallpaper pieces pulled from its walls shelter a journey narrated through sounds. During the “Chambres à part” exhibition residency, a reimagined story of an empty site before its destruction.

Only two percent & Cendres (2015)

“Only two percent”, the title given to an installation built on the stairs separating the two floors of the ’35h’ exhibition space, refers to the rich yet small amount of recordings done within the work process.
In a confessional environment, headphones wired to a fireplace plays “Cendres” (ashes), a more intimate atmosphere which brings out doubt and uncertainty in the artists’ voices.

I Bought a Kriegelstein (2013)

In a semi-dark room, sounds of strings and woods surround us, almost as if we are inside the instrument. The Kriegelstein piano, sculpture-like, still and silent in the middle of the room, stands as a remain and reminder of the process and sound source.
